so here's the game plan

What the heck am I doing here?
I've had to ask myself this question about 18 thousand times over the past couple of months. This dream of writing & creating has been growing for longer than I realized. The dream for a safe space. An outlet. A connection hub. A sparkler ignitor. A community former.

Here's the thing....I am incredibly average.
I don't have a ton of advice because in most corners of my life I am figuring things out as I go.
I don't bring any remarkable skills to the table. Because I am somewhere between medicore and profecient at literally almost everything but not excellent at any of it.
I don't stand out with extra discipline, extreme beauty, or tried and true magic pills. So if you're reading for tips and tricks, I have just as many as you. Like I said...Incredibly average.
What the heck am I doing here, writing a freaking BLOG?


Ok now I get to tell you the answer I've landed on. All the incredibly average people like me.

I don't know about you, but if you check yes to being that kind of gal then I KNOW you're not looking for unrealistic advice or exaggerated inspiration. We're out here looking to be understood (in the good, bad, hilarious, ugly, and mundane), to connect with others, to belong. Screw a new night time skincare routine.....give me a good, relatable laugh and all the reminders that
We are not alone.


So that's what I'm doing here. Sharing some really deep reflections of real life stuff. Hopefully stuff you've experienced or think about too. Sharing some embarassing stories that will either be super relatable or super digusting (depending on whether or not you checked "incredibly average" above or not) Sharing actual opportunities to meet and make connections. Sharing the childlike wonder I hope we all can revive on any average day. Sharing....and oversharing.
