Ice Breaking: live laugh DREAM
Before we get too far along in this relationship I need to mention how obsessed I am with next level, force-ya-to-overshare kind of ice breakers. If you know me IRL and I haven't hounded you with at least one by now...You need to come over ASAP! Otherwise be prepared for me to overshare them here, desperately awaitng your response!
In the last year or so I keep coming back to this one because I am OBSESSED. It's gotten mixed reviews and a whole lot of fabulous conversation flowing but I really hope it has/will stir up a childlike spark or maybe even lost excitement.
What's a dream you have?
No constraints on time, ability, or actual possibility. Forget practicality for a minute. Skys the limit. I always say that it absolutely does not have to be career oriented, think passions & interests(but if that's where your mind goes- by all means!). Although stability and mundane responsibility is actually something to applaud, it is so easy to let the excitment, bravery, and wonder we all once had get sucked right out you! You feel me?! Somewhere along the way you start to forget the dreams that filled your mind as a child. The ones at the forefront practicing in the driveway, reading up on your fascination with every spare minute, the ones that started the first time you saw it in a movie & your heart jut filled with awe, or maybe in the quiet excitement only you remember sparking...but no one else caught on. That stuff matters!!!! It made you who you are...and it might matter for who you come to be.
The answers to this question have been so beautiful to me. From being a mermaid, to competing in the Olympics, to moving across the world. Some people have even taken action and started to pursue or at least sprinkle in their dream chasing! Maybe it's a complete career change or maybe it's a hobby you'd forgotten you loved amidst the hustle bustle of life. Let yourself goooo there! I don't know if it's better to go with the first thing that comes to mind or think about it for a hot second. Both seem to reveal a fun little light in your heart.
